MEET THE STAFF

Darren had been in the IT/Printing industry for over 20 years. He has always had a passion for dogs & cats and has over the years owned a handful. Darren along with his wife Julie were devoted to their 2 Springer spaniels who they had from puppies. Sadly they both passed away within a couple of years of each other ageing from 13 to 15 years. Darren & Julie always wanted to do more and decided to rehome dogs so that their unfortunate start to life could be changed for the better. The rehoming of 2 dogs in recent years were taken on while Darren & his wife were still in there full time employment. Darren & Julie decided at the beginning of 2007 that their dream of running a kennels would be their next step. So giving up their present employment they looked around at kennels to pursue a better life in which they found Dogotel. Here they could have the pleasure and satisfaction of running a well established boarding kennels and being around dogs & cats everyday and carrying on the hard work that had already been put in.

Julie has always had a love of all animals and now she says "I have the best job in the world".

Her goal is to provide a quality service based on her expectations of what she would wish for her pets. She takes great joy in seeing the returning guests pulling their owners to the gate with tails wagging and the excited greeting you get from them when they see you.

Nicola has worked at the Dogotel since January 2005. She has a NVQ Level 2 & 3 in animal care and dog grooming. Nicola enjoys interacting with all the different types of dogs and enjoys her time on the paddock playing with them. She also enjoys grooming. Nicola reckons that this is the best job in the world working with her 4 legged friends. All her colleagues share the same point of view.

Mandy joined Dogotel in August 2011. Since we took over the kennels in 2008 we got introduced to Mandy through our local school due to our children being in the same school and she has many qualities, which we thought would be good used here.

Saturday or Sunday

Lauren started working at the kennels in 2011 and wants to follow in her parents foot steps and one day succeed them. She has a long way to go and already showing very good skills and once left school will go full time here at the kennels.

We have known Richard for a number of years and is married to Michelle "Grooming by Michelle". Richard has wanted to work at the kennels since we can remember and an opportunity arrived in February 2012. With his caring and friendly attitude he will be an added bonus to the great team we all ready have in place. Welcome aboard Richie.

Kayleigh Started at the kennels in September 2010 and is here until she furthers her career in nursing.
